The Iowa is the lead ship in her class of battleships. I posted the images in spoiler boxes because they don't autoresize and are obnoxiously large.

I focused mostly on the engineering stuff that visitors to the USS Iowa museum do not get to see yet. The engine room with it's incredible amount of gauges, valves and pipes crisscrossing each other (and that happens all over the ship), the circuitry running throughout the ship connecting everyone via phones or squawk boxes, all the many stations with unique purposes located everywhere including like 8 levels above the deck, the modernized (for it's time) combat engagement center where missiles were launched from, the cramped turrets, the captain's quarters, the lookout ports, instruction on how the Iowa's engines were operated and even started (jet fuel soaked asbestos rag on a rod ignited and shoved into a spray of oil).and the strange fact that some of the onboard computers are still powered on with blinking lights which is really eerie for some reason.I didn't waste a lot of time taking photos of weapons on the decks, you can google and find much better images of these that I could've taken with my iPhone. It shows the mind boggling amount of engineering that went into the building of such a large and complex machine. I've never seen a tour as thorough and informative as this. It's one of the most fascinating video's I've seen in a very long time.

This youtuber was given a personal tour of the USS Iowa's off limits areas - areas ordinary mortals like ourselves have never seen. This was posted a few months ago but apparently nobody paid attention.
